Argentina grants Chile's Jetsmart rights to operate domestic routes
The Argentine government has authorised Chilean carrier Jetsmart Airlines to run domestic flights within Argentina, according to a resolution published in the official gazette. The approval covers traffic rights from the third to the ninth freedom.

Argentina's government has authorised Chilean carrier Jetsmart Airlines to operate domestic flights in the country. The aviation portal Aviacionline reported that the authorisation was published in the official gazette on 14 October.
The resolution grants traffic rights from the third to the ninth freedom, covering international services and cabotage flights.
The approval applies to the Chilean parent company, Jetsmart Airlines, not to its Argentine subsidiary of the same name. That subsidiary already has its own operating licence and flies within Argentina using locally based aircraft.
