Eurowings reviews scope of A320neo premium seat retrofit
Eurowings still plans to introduce its new premium business seat from December 2026, but the number of Airbus A320neo aircraft that will receive it is now under review after the cancellation of some Dubai routes.

Eurowings still plans to put its new premium business seat into service. The first flights with the product are due to start on 1 December 2026 on Dubai services from Berlin. It will also be offered on the airline's announced routes from Düsseldorf and Berlin to Mallorca, from Düsseldorf to Málaga, and from both cities to London Heathrow.
How many Airbus A320neo aircraft will be converted remains open. Eurowings originally said in November it would gradually equip its entire A320neo sub-fleet with the new product. After the cancellation of Dubai flights from Stuttgart and Cologne/Bonn, the Lufthansa subsidiary now says the concrete scope of the retrofit is being assessed. A spokesperson said the exact extent of the roll-out within the A320neo fleet is being examined.
The premium business seat involves redesigning the first two rows of the cabin. Instead of the previous 2-3 layout, a 2-2 configuration will be used. That cuts the number of seats in this section from 18 to eight.
