Alaska Airlines is cutting its Honolulu-Sydney service for the northern winter 2026/27 season, though only slightly. From 20 December 2026 to 6 February 2027 it plans six weekly flights rather than the seven originally intended. The airline had first scheduled a daily connection from 15 December to 1 February.

Hawaiian Airlines flies the route with Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Honolulu-to-Sydney flights depart every day except Tuesday, and the return leg does not operate on Wednesdays.
