Emirates and Kuwait Airways move to expand partnership with codeshare plan

Emirates and Kuwait Airways have signed a memorandum of understanding to broaden their existing cooperation, expanding their current interline partnership into a mutual codeshare agreement.

Kuwait Airways customers would gain access to additional destinations in the Emirates network through Dubai. Multi-leg trips would be bookable on a single ticket, with baggage checked through to the final destination.

Emirates passengers, in return, would be able to use additional connections within the Kuwait Airways network. The agreement is described as a declaration of intent, and no timeline for implementation was given.
