ITA Airways names Sharon Stone as global brand ambassador

ITA Airways has appointed the actress Sharon Stone as its worldwide brand ambassador. She becomes the face of a new international advertising campaign, "Simply Italian", which the airline says is intended to develop its brand presence further.

The campaign centres on Italian hospitality, style and onboard service. It was developed together with Pope Creative Studio and consists of several short spots showing everyday scenes connected with travelling on ITA Airways.

The campaign launched in Italy on 14 September. From 22 September it is to be rolled out in the United States and Brazil.
