Egypt's Red Sea Airlines to lease two Boeing 737 Max 8s
Red Sea Airlines has signed leasing deals for two Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, with deliveries planned for 2027, as part of a fleet expansion targeting 14 aircraft by 2028.

Red Sea Airlines plans to add two Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, under lease agreements signed with SMBC Aviation Capital, according to media reports. Delivery is scheduled for July and August 2027.
A Boeing 737-800 leased from Aergo Capital is expected to join the fleet by the end of 2026.
The carrier is also in talks with international leasing companies about seven more aircraft, the reports said. The expansion plan would take the fleet to 14 aircraft by 2028.
Red Sea Airlines intends to use the added capacity to expand its services through Egyptian airports including Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Sphinx.
