Eleven bidders express interest in Sata Handling privatisation

Sata Holding said on Tuesday that eleven interested parties have come forward for the planned privatisation of Sata Handling. The sale covers the ground handling company's entire share capital.

Candidates had until 14 September to submit documents on reliability and compliance and on their financial capacity, along with a statement of their specific interest. Sata Holding is now reviewing which applicants meet the participation requirements. Those that qualify will be asked to submit a non-binding offer.

The privatisation is part of the Sata group's restructuring plan, which the European Commission has approved.
