Etihad Airways unveils Etihad Escapes travel booking platform

Etihad Airways presented Etihad Escapes, a digital platform combining flights, hotels and experiences, at the Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai. The commercial debut is set for October, with a broader rollout planned through 2027.

Etihad Airways launched a travel platform called Etihad Escapes at the Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai. The airline describes it as an integrated service that combines flight bookings, accommodation and experiences in one digital environment.

The carrier said the platform aims to capture passenger spending beyond the flight and to support tourism and economic goals in Abu Dhabi.

A commercial launch is set for October, when customers with a flight reservation will be able to add hotel accommodation through the airline's official portal.

That first phase is a starting point for a wider expansion planned through 2027. The roadmap includes full booking integration, letting travellers search and reserve hotels themselves and combine flights and lodging in a single purchase flow. It also covers deployment in the Etihad mobile application, links to the Etihad Guest frequent flyer programme with advanced personalisation, and the gradual addition of more travel experiences and ancillary services.

Etihad said the platform combines its own capabilities with several industry partners. Expedia Group B2B is to supply and manage hotel inventory, Juniper Travel Technology is to provide technical support and infrastructure, and Miral Destinations is a strategic launch partner.

Etihad did not disclose financial terms or usage targets for the platform.
