Amsterdam Schiphol tenders nine-year construction and maintenance contracts

Amsterdam Schiphol has issued five tenders for long-term construction and maintenance contracts. The framework agreements start in 2028 and run for nine years.

The airport says the tenders follow the expiry of a large number of existing contracts this year.

Work covered includes maintenance, renewal and construction on terminals, technical systems, aprons and operational buildings. That takes in passenger boarding bridges, aircraft stands, power and climate supply at the gates, charging infrastructure and fire stations.

Schiphol also wants more control over its own infrastructure, and is expanding in-house expertise and asset management to that end.
