Assaia and Frontier Audio partner on voice alerts for aircraft turnarounds

Assaia and Frontier Audio have partnered to bring Frontier Audio’s AI interface to aircraft turnaround operations. The integration allows ground handlers to update turnaround events hands-free and gives ramp teams real-time voice alerts.

Ground crews already communicate operational facts throughout a turnaround, including pre-arrival briefings, safety checks, and pushback coordination with the cockpit. Frontier Audio’s platform uses an intelligent headset and handheld to capture and timestamp these spoken operational events. The events are then passed to Assaia’s ApronAI system, along with events independently detected by Assaia’s computer vision technology.
