Austrian Airlines will add a seasonal Vienna-Beirut route to its summer 2027 schedule, running June through September, the airline said. Two long-haul seasons are also being extended: Mauritius will be served until 22 April and Malé in the Maldives until 25 April, roughly a month longer than before on both.

In Asia, Tokyo Narita and Shanghai return at the start of the summer timetable. Austrian plans daily flights to Tokyo and five weekly services to Shanghai from May to October. Bangkok stays daily across the whole summer season.

North America is unchanged in outline, with New York JFK, Newark, Washington, Boston, Chicago and Montreal on the schedule. Los Angeles rejoins at the end of April. Those routes are flown five to seven times a week with Boeing 777 aircraft.

Within Europe, Austrian is adding capacity to Greece in particular and says the result is the largest Greece offering in the Lufthansa Group. Extra connections to Spain, Italy and France are also planned.

Brussels Airlines has separately set out its own new destinations for the same summer 2027 timetable. Details of the Belgian carrier's additions were not included in the Austrian announcement.
