Austrian Airlines expects its fourth Boeing 787 to arrive on Wednesday, 16 September, the carrier said. Registered OE-LPI, the aircraft is due to leave Frankfurt at 16:00 and reach Vienna at 17:25 as flight OS1472.

It previously flew for Lufthansa as D-ABPA.

After handover the jet goes to Austrian Technik. In early October it is to fly to Taipei for its cabin to be converted to Austrian Airlines' standard, followed by repainting at Teruel in Spain towards the end of November.
