A Canadian-registered Gulfstream G100 air ambulance flying from Bermuda to Boston went missing on 3 October, prompting a US Coast Guard search off the Massachusetts coast.

A Gulfstream G100 Astra flying a medical flight from Bermuda to Boston is missing, and the US Coast Guard is leading the search for it off the New England coast.
Contact with the jet, which had six people on board, was lost on 3 October. The Coast Guard said the US Federal Aviation Administration told it at 02:00 that communications with the aircraft had ended.
Crews are searching an area off Nantucket, using both aircraft and vessels, the Coast Guard said. The assets include an HC-130, an HC-144 Ocean Sentry and an MH-60 helicopter.
Transport Canada lists the aircraft as C-GRJP, a Canadian registration, and identifies it as part of the fleet of Latitude Air Ambulance, based in Hamilton. The airframe dates from 1996 and was built by Israel Aerospace Industries for Gulfstream.
No further details were provided on the occupants or on the circumstances of the loss of contact.
