Delta Air Lines will fly between Boston and Reykjavik, Iceland, again starting April 12, 2027, the Atlanta-based carrier announced Friday. The daily service runs through Oct. 30, according to the airline, and tickets go on sale this weekend.
A Boeing 757-200 will operate the route. Delta flew it briefly in 2021, based on Cirium Diio schedule data cited in the announcement.
Reykjavik becomes Delta's 14th unique long-haul destination and its 16th international destination from Boston in the peak summer season, the airline said.
The relaunch follows Delta's recent unveiling of Boston–Venice service, which begins May 7, 2027. That route runs four times a week through Oct. 29 with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Delta also plans to increase its Boston–Milan frequency to daily in 2027.
