Deutsche Aircraft has begun flight testing a new landing gear for the D328 Eco. Following low- and high-speed taxi tests, a D328 serving as a flying testbed has completed five development flights since August 5. Combined flight and ground testing now exceeds 15 hours.

The company changed landing gear suppliers and secured full rights to the new system. The architecture is intended for existing D328s and the D328eco. Upcoming tests will cover braking performance, steering behaviour, crosswind operations, unpaved runway use, and structural and load evaluations.
