DFS Aviation Services signs partnership with Saudi air navigation provider

DFS Aviation Services and Saudi Air Navigation Services have agreed on a strategic cooperation, with a memorandum of understanding setting the framework for joint projects to develop air navigation services.

The focus includes new system architectures for air traffic management, cloud-based services and automation. The two sides also list airspace and traffic flow optimisation, remote tower operations and advanced air mobility among the areas of interest.

Under the arrangement, the companies intend to develop and assess new solutions together and to promote the exchange of technology and expertise. The stated aim is to raise the capacity and efficiency of air navigation services and to bring new technologies into operation faster.
