Emirates nears halfway mark in cabin upgrade program
Emirates says 137 of its 290 aircraft now feature premium economy, and it continues to expand its network with new destinations and aircraft deliveries.

Emirates is making progress on its fleet modernization. According to the airline, 137 of its 290 aircraft now offer premium economy seating. So far 104 aircraft have been retrofitted out of a planned 219. Additionally, 49 aircraft are equipped with Starlink connectivity. Since the start of the year, Emirates has taken delivery of ten Airbus A350s and seven Boeing 777Fs. The carrier serves 140 destinations across 72 countries and plans to expand further. Helsinki will join the network on October 1, as Vice President Adnan Kazim announced at the Arabian Travel Market. By December, the Airbus A350 is expected to fly to 36 cities.
