Emirates Unveils Electrically Powered Premium Economy Seat
Emirates introduced a new Premium Economy seat with an electrically adjustable privacy screen, debuting on its Airbus A350 fleet with 28 seats per cabin.

Emirates has unveiled a new Premium Economy seat that it calls the world's first fully electrically powered option with a full-height adjustable privacy screen. The product will first appear on newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft.
The cabin will have 28 seats in a 2-3-2 layout, each 20 inches wide with up to 39 inches of pitch. Passengers can adjust the seat and privacy divider electrically via a control panel, with preset positions for lounge and dining. The cradle-style recline does not reduce space for the passenger behind.
Other features include a Safran U-Dream leather headrest, a manually deployed footrest, wireless charging, USB-C, and a tray table with a phone holder. A 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen provides entertainment, with external camera views available.
The new seat builds on Emirates' existing Premium Economy product, which offers upgraded dining, china, wines, and amenity kits on long-haul flights. Premium Economy is currently available across the airline's A350 network.
