Finnair to add Tokyo Narita service, raising Helsinki–Tokyo frequency to three daily in summer 2027

Finnair will add flights to Tokyo Narita for the 2027 peak summer season, taking Helsinki–Tokyo to as many as two daily Narita services while its daily Tokyo Haneda service continues. At the season's busiest points, that means up to three flights a day between Helsinki and Tokyo.

The extra Narita service is scheduled from 12 May to 14 August 2027, with two exceptions: the Helsinki departure on 13 May and the return flight on 14 May.

Finnair said its overall Japan schedule will grow from 28 weekly flights in summer 2026 to up to 32 weekly flights in summer 2027. Beyond Tokyo, the airline serves Osaka year-round and Nagoya in summer. It said the added Tokyo flights are timed to connect with its European network.

The changes cover the 2027 peak summer season, not the whole year. No aircraft type was named for the additional frequencies.
