Flair Airlines signs 15-year engine maintenance deal with Lufthansa Technik

Canadian carrier Flair Airlines has agreed a 15-year engine and digital services contract with Lufthansa Technik covering its 18 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

Flair Airlines and Lufthansa Technik have signed a 15-year agreement covering engine and digital services for the Canadian carrier's 18 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft and their Leap-1B engines. Most engine work will be performed in Calgary, supplemented by sites in Hamburg and Wrocław. Digital solutions for condition monitoring and maintenance planning are also included.

Lufthansa Technik expects more than 100 maintenance events in Calgary for Flair over the coming years. Flair becomes the second major customer of Lufthansa Technik's new Calgary facility.
