Widerøe to End German Routes in Winter 2026/27
Norwegian regional carrier Widerøe will halt its flights from Bergen to Hamburg and Munich at the end of October, with no planned return for summer 2027. Service to Brussels and Dublin will also be discontinued.
Widerøe will withdraw from the German market in the winter 2026/27 schedule. The Norwegian regional airline will stop flying from Bergen to Hamburg and Munich at the end of October, according to a report by Bergensavisen. The routes are not expected to resume in summer 2027.
Widerøe first launched the German connections in 2018, then suspended them during the pandemic in 2020. They returned in 2023 and have operated year-round since 2024. At the same time, the carrier is ending direct flights from Bergen to Brussels and Dublin.
