Frankfurt firm processes 500,000 digital aircraft refuellings in six months
Information Design One says its A-Fuel platform handled around 500,000 digital refuelling transactions in the first half of 2026, a company record. The Frankfurt firm plans further European connections and expects more than a million transactions by year end.
Frankfurt-based Information Design One says its A-Fuel platform processed roughly 500,000 refuelling transactions digitally in the first half of 2026, a figure the company calls a new record.
The platform exchanges refuelling data in real time between airlines, fuelling service providers and their IT systems. According to the company, fuel quantities, refuelling times and confirmations are captured and transmitted electronically. The system is intended to speed up ground handling, cut delays and make automated invoice checking easier.
Four locations in Portugal were the most recent addition to the network, work carried out with ebits and Petrogal. More connections are planned in Europe and other regions. By the end of 2026, Information Design One expects to pass one million digitally processed refuelling transactions.
