Southwest Airlines is planning a lounge at Orlando International Airport, according to airport planning papers. The carrier has not formally announced the project.

The documents describe a dedicated club area inside the Airside 2 expansion, which holds Southwest's main gate complex in Orlando.

If it goes ahead, Orlando becomes another large airport in the airline's developing premium offering. Southwest is building a lounge network with Chase, targeting at least 11 locations in the coming years.
