Hi Sky cuts Bucharest–New York JFK service for most of winter 2026/27
Romanian carrier Hi Sky will suspend its long-haul route between Bucharest and New York JFK for much of the 2026/27 winter schedule, keeping flights only around the Christmas and New Year period.
Hi Sky is scaling back its Bucharest-New York JFK long-haul route for the 2026/27 winter timetable. Outside the Christmas and New Year period the service will be temporarily suspended, according to the portal Aero Routes.
Booking data as of 13 October shows only eight departure dates across the whole winter schedule.
Flights are listed for 30 October and for 18, 21, 23 and 28 December 2026, followed by 4, 6 and 8 January 2027. The carrier's offering is concentrated on the busy Christmas and New Year travel period.
