An attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday killed at least twelve people and injured 309, some critically, Saudi Arabia's aviation authority said. Foreign nationals were among the dead.
The Saudi-led military coalition said the attack targeted a passenger terminal. The airport halted operations for a period, and some Saudia flights were diverted on Saturday.
The Houthi movement claimed responsibility, describing the strike as retaliation for Saudi air strikes in Yemen.
Several attacks on Saudi airports occurred in the days before, the aviation authority said. A Saudia pilot was killed in one of those earlier strikes, and an aircraft belonging to the airline was damaged.
Western governments warned against travel near the airport and urged people to avoid the surrounding area.
