Riyadh King Khalid airport halts operations after attack
Operations at Riyadh King Khalid airport were suspended on 10 October after the facility was attacked, Saudi Arabia's civil aviation regulator said, with a number of injuries reported.

Riyadh King Khalid airport suspended operations after an attack on 10 October, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said.
The regulator said the attack caused "a number of injuries" and that the extent of those injuries is still being assessed. It called the assault part of continued hostile action against civil aviation facilities in the kingdom.
Operations are halted temporarily while damage assessments and safety inspections are carried out in coordination with relevant authorities, the authority said.
No party was named as responsible. Earlier attacks on Riyadh airport and other sites in Saudi Arabia have been attributed to Houthi armed forces in Yemen.
The airport's operator advised passengers to contact their airlines to confirm flight status before travelling to the airport.
