Iran Air launches Zahedan–Quetta route, a first for the two cities

Iran Air will begin direct flights between Zahedan in southeastern Iran and Quetta in western Pakistan on 14 October, giving the carrier a third route between the two countries.

Iran Air is adding a direct link between Zahedan in southeastern Iran and Quetta in western Pakistan, with the first flight scheduled for 14 October. The service will operate once a week, on Wednesdays.

With the new sector, the Iranian national carrier will serve three routes between the two neighbouring countries. The airline has already restored operations from Tehran to Karachi on Mondays and from Mashhad to Karachi on Tuesdays.

The route connects Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province with Pakistan's Balochistan province by air, a pair of regions that previously had no direct service between them.
