LATAM Airlines takes five honours at 2026 World Travel Awards

LATAM Airlines collected five awards at the 2026 World Travel Awards, including South America's Leading Airline for the eleventh consecutive year.

LATAM Airlines picked up five awards at the 2026 World Travel Awards, the carrier said, including South America's Leading Airline for an eleventh consecutive year and South America's Leading Airline Brand for a fifth time. The LATAM Lounge Santiago was named South America's Leading Airline Lounge 2026.

The World Travel Awards, founded in 1993, assesses travel, tourism and hospitality organisations at global, regional and national level. The votes behind this year's results were cast between April and June by industry professionals and consumers, according to the airline.

LATAM linked the recognition to its ongoing effort to refresh its product, saying cabin interiors, premium cabins and service design draw on South American identity, textures, colours and cultural heritage.

The company pointed to new cabin interiors and a revamped Premium Business cabin, presented in December 2025, as part of that work. The carrier also described "Sabores que Transportan", a programme that refreshes its onboard menu each quarter with recipes from emerging South American chefs. Those dishes appear in the Premium and Economy cabins on long-haul flights departing Chile, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.

The airline said it is progressively expanding Wi-Fi across domestic and regional routes, with free access included.
