JetBlue puts new BlueFirst cabin on sale ahead of December debut
JetBlue has opened sales for its BlueFirst front cabin, with the first reconfigured aircraft due to fly between Boston and Fort Lauderdale on 8 December.

JetBlue has begun selling seats in its new BlueFirst cabin. The first reconfigured aircraft enters service on 8 December, flying Boston to Fort Lauderdale.
The airline plans to expand the offering quickly. About 40 markets are already on sale, part of a plan to add routes through April 2027, according to JetBlue. The inaugural flight, B6 1169 on 8 December, has its front cabin fully booked, though seats remain available on other days.
One detail stands out in how the cabin is presented online. When BlueFirst is on sale but already full, the website will not show it as sold out.
The sales launch also means the updated seat maps are now formally published. The reconfiguration's effects on the standard economy cabin are now more plainly visible. Forward of the exit row the cabin still holds nine rows, but three are now BlueFirst. An extra row behind the exit row compensates, and legroom shrinks throughout as a result. The exit row layout is unchanged, though those seats are again labelled Even More after a period without that tag.
JetBlue also announced a change to its Mosaic elite benefits that brings upgrades into the picture. Move to Mint certificates will convert into Premium Upgrade certificates, redeemable for the BlueFirst cabin. Pricing stays variable.
