KM Malta Airlines partners with SNCF Voyageurs on rail-air bookings
The Maltese carrier and French rail operator SNCF Voyageurs launched a Train+Air partnership that lets travellers book flights and onward high-speed train journeys in one ticket.
KM Malta Airlines has started a Train+Air partnership with the French rail company SNCF Voyageurs, allowing passengers to book a flight and a connecting train journey through France and to Brussels as a single booking.
The changeover points are the airports of Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Lyon-Saint-Exupéry. Onward travel uses the TGV Inoui and Ouigo high-speed services.
The arrangement also works in the other direction, for travellers heading to Malta. Under the conditions in force, passengers affected by delays or disruption are to be rebooked onto alternative onward travel at no extra charge.
Through the partnership, KM Malta Airlines aims to extend its connections beyond Paris and Lyon.
