LOT and Thai Airways sign letter of intent for codeshare deal
The two Star Alliance carriers have signed a letter of intent to add codeshared flights on selected routes in Europe, Asia and Oceania, with a planned start at the beginning of the 2027 summer schedule.

LOT Polish Airlines and Thai Airways intend to expand their cooperation. The two Star Alliance members signed a letter of intent for a codeshare agreement on 14 October, the carriers said.
The agreement covers selected routes in Europe, Asia and Oceania and is due to begin with the start of the 2027 summer timetable. It still needs approval from the relevant authorities.
The signing coincided with the launch of LOT's new direct service between Warsaw and Bangkok. Through the Thai carrier's hub, LOT passengers would gain access to more destinations in Thailand, other Asian countries, and Australia and Oceania, while Thai Airways intends to offer its customers more connections within Europe.
The two airlines already have an interline agreement allowing combined travel on flights from both companies. Under the planned codeshare, selected connections could also be offered and booked under the partner's flight number.
