Lufthansa, Air France-KLM Welcome Further Talks on TAP Stake
Both airline groups plan to continue pursuing bids for up to 44.9% of TAP Air Portugal after the Portuguese government called for deeper negotiations.

Lufthansa Group and Air France-KLM both welcomed the Portuguese government's decision to hold additional talks over a possible stake in TAP Air Portugal.
Air France-KLM sees the renewed discussions as a chance to strengthen its proposal. According to the Lusa news agency, the group is confident it can submit a final, improved binding offer within the three-week deadline set by the government. It declined to comment on possible financial adjustments.
Lufthansa also said it welcomed the government's move to deepen negotiations.
Both groups are interested in acquiring up to 44.9 percent of TAP.
