Microflite Group orders two Tecnam P2012 STOL aircraft for Tasmania sightseeing
Australian operator Microflite Group has ordered two Tecnam P2012 STOL aircraft, to be flown by its Par Avion subsidiary on tourist flights in Tasmania. The group is also buying a Cessna 206HD.
Microflite Group has ordered two Tecnam P2012 STOL aircraft, the company said. Delivery is due shortly. Par Avion, a Microflite subsidiary, will use them for tourist flights in Tasmania.
Hallmarc Aviation, Tecnam's representative in Australia, arranged the purchase.
The twin-engine P2012 STOL was certified in 2024 and is designed to take off and land on very short runways. It has eleven seats, which the manufacturer positions for use at remote airfields such as those in national parks and hard-to-reach areas.
Microflite Group is also acquiring a Cessna 206HD alongside the two Tecnam aircraft.
