Philippine Airlines to fly Manila-Melbourne daily from November 2026

Philippine Airlines (PAL) said it will boost its Manila-Melbourne route to daily flights from November 19, 2026, up from the current five-times-weekly schedule. The change lands just ahead of the year-end holiday travel peak.

The airline noted the timing also coincides with a milestone: PAL will mark 55 years of flying to Melbourne on September 10, 2026, having first launched the route back in 1971.

Under the new timetable, flight PR 209 will leave Manila at 20:20 local time, arriving in Melbourne at 07:30 the next morning. The return service, PR 210, departs Melbourne at 09:20 and lands in Manila at 14:25, operating every day of the week.

According to the airline, the revised schedule is intended to improve connections across its broader network, allowing passengers from Australia to transfer through Manila onward to destinations in the Philippines, other parts of Asia, North America, and the Middle East.

The daily upgrade cements PAL's position as the leading carrier between the Philippines and Australia by frequency and destinations served. It already operates daily flights to Brisbane and Sydney, plus three weekly services to Perth.

PAL also said the added frequency will bring extra cargo capacity to the Manila-Melbourne route, which it said would support Philippine export trade and reinforce commercial ties between the two countries.
