Romanian carrier Animawings halts regular flights after creditor protection filing
Animawings has temporarily suspended all scheduled flights a day after applying for creditor protection, cancelling services and pausing ticket sales on several routes.

Romanian airline Animawings has halted all scheduled flights, a day after it applied for creditor protection. Thursday's flights were cancelled and ticket sales stopped on numerous routes, according to the portal Boarding Pass.
Some connections cannot be booked until 25 October. Others are unavailable indefinitely.
The airline said it is reorganising its flight schedule. It did not say when regular operations would resume or which routes would be served in future.
Among the affected services are Bucharest to Geneva and Munich, and Cluj-Napoca to Frankfurt and Vienna.
Animawings' fleet consists of six Airbus A220s and two A320s. Only the two A320s had been in service most recently.
