Sun Phu Quoc Airways is adding its first route to India. The Vietnamese carrier will link the holiday island of Phu Quoc with Ahmedabad, operating the nonstop service five times a week from December 3.

Flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Airbus A321 Neo aircraft will fly the sector, with a block time of roughly four hours and 45 minutes.

The airline intends to increase the link to a daily service from the start of February 2027. Ahmedabad is the carrier's first Indian destination, a move it attributes to growing demand from India.
