Textron completes 500th Cessna Citation Latitude at Wichita plant
Textron Aviation has finished building the 500th Cessna Citation Latitude, the company's mid-size twin-engine business jet. The manufacturer did not disclose the customer or a delivery date.
Textron Aviation has built the 500th Cessna Citation Latitude at its Wichita plant in Kansas. The mid-size twin-engine business jet seats up to nine passengers.
The manufacturer says the Citation Latitude has a range of about 5,000 kilometres with four passengers on board. It cruises at up to 826 kilometres per hour. The cabin has a flat floor throughout and stands around 1.83 metres high. Under the stated reference conditions, the aircraft needs 1,091 metres of runway for takeoff.
Textron Aviation gave no details about the customer for the 500th Citation Latitude or about when it will be handed over.
