Spanish manufacturer Entrol will supply the Tunisian air force with a new flight simulator for its Airbus H125/AS350B helicopter training.

The Tunisian air force is getting a new flight simulator from Spanish manufacturer Entrol for helicopter crew training. The device, designated an Airbus H125 FNPT II MCC, is based on a cockpit adapted from Tunisia's existing AS350B fleet.
According to the report, the simulator is fitted with Garmin GDU1060 avionics and a vibration system meant to replicate real flight conditions. It also includes Tunisian navigation data and models of fifteen helicopter landing sites used by the country's forces.
The system is designed to support training for emergency procedures, formation flying, night-vision operations and flights in sandstorm conditions, the report said. It is the second simulator project Entrol has delivered for the Tunisian air force. No timeline for delivery or entry into service was given.
