United Airlines to launch daily Newark–Luxembourg flights with A321 XLR
United Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Newark and Luxembourg starting April 2, 2027, using its new Airbus A321 XLR aircraft.

United Airlines will launch a new nonstop route between Newark Liberty International Airport and Luxembourg starting April 2, 2027. The flight will run daily.
The carrier plans to use the Airbus A321 XLR on the route, the newest aircraft type in its international fleet. This long-range narrowbody jet lets United serve markets that previously couldn't support wide-body service.
The Luxembourg route is part of United's largest international expansion to date, according to the airline. United said it plans to add ten new international destinations in all, along with three additional routes to Europe and Asia.
The airline noted it has added 58 international destinations to its network since 2017. It now serves more than 160 destinations outside the United States, according to the company.
United did not provide further details about pricing, aircraft configuration, or connecting service at either airport.
