Volaris to Launch Guadalajara–Raleigh-Durham Flights in October
Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris will begin nonstop service between Guadalajara and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, on October 16, operating three weekly flights with Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Volaris is adding Raleigh-Durham International Airport to its U.S. network. From October 16, the airline will fly between Guadalajara and the North Carolina airport three times per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Airbus A321neo jets will be used on the route.
The airport announced the new service on Thursday. Raleigh-Durham becomes Volaris' second destination in North Carolina, following Charlotte. The airport's president and CEO, Michael Landguth, said the nonstop link would connect two dynamic regions, creating opportunities for business and growth and making it easier for Triangle-area travelers to visit family and friends.
Volaris currently serves more than 20 U.S. destinations, including Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, and Dallas/Fort Worth.
