Emirates to add Premium Economy on Dubai-Paris A380 flights from October 2026

Emirates plans to introduce its retrofitted Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Paris route from October 25, 2026. The change will place the airline's Premium Economy cabin on daily flights EK071 and EK072.

This completes the rollout of Premium Economy across Emirates' three French gateways. Paris Charles de Gaulle, Lyon, and Nice will now all have the cabin. Since Premium Economy began on the Lyon and Nice routes, about one in ten passengers have bought it, the airline said.

A large share of travellers to France come from long-haul markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, and the UAE. Many flights to those destinations exceed ten hours, and Emirates said passengers want more comfort and space on these journeys.

Travellers departing France also fly to long-haul destinations and to Indian Ocean islands like the Maldives and Mauritius. Premium Economy is available on those routes, allowing the full trip to be made in the new cabin.

Cedric Renard, Emirates' Country Manager in France, said the Paris addition followed strong customer response in Lyon and Nice. He said Paris remains one of the airline's busiest global gateways.
