Qatar Airways winter schedule tops 170 destinations with new routes
The carrier will serve more than 170 destinations and operate over 186 weekly flights, adding or resuming routes to Zanzibar and Canberra and boosting frequencies across Asia Pacific.

Qatar Airways has published its 2026-2027 winter schedule, with a network spanning more than 170 destinations. The airline said it will operate over 186 weekly flights across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East from its Doha hub at Hamad International Airport.
The schedule includes new services, route resumptions and frequency increases. Daily flights to Zanzibar resume on October 25, 2026. Canberra returns to the network via Melbourne with daily service starting December 9, 2026.
Asia Pacific sees the largest changes. Phuket rises from 14 to 21 weekly flights from October 25, and Malé from 12 to 21 weekly flights from the same date. Ho Chi Minh City goes from 7 to 11 weekly flights from November 7, including the return of four direct Doha-Ho Chi Minh City services alongside the existing routing via Phnom Penh. Kuala Lumpur will have 18 weekly Qatar Airways flights, plus 14 weekly flights from oneworld partner Malaysia Airlines. Melbourne frequencies go from 7 to 14 weekly flights from December 9.
Partner carrier Virgin Australia will expand its Doha services from Sydney, Brisbane and Perth beginning December 2026. Sydney rises from 7 to 14 weekly flights.
