What happened

During a nighttime flight operating from Krymsk to Marneuli, the aircraft departed from its intended flight trajectory, drifting to the right while nearing its destination. The aircraft subsequently struck the peak of a mountain situated at an elevation of 1,150 metres. The impact occurred approximately 41 km northwest of the Marneuli Airfield, in a region west of Tbilisi.

All individuals on board, consisting of 7 crew members and one passenger, were killed in the accident. There were no survivors recorded from the crash site.
