Incident
En route from Saurimo to Luanda, the flight crew encountered unspecified technical problems. They were cleared by air traffic control to divert to Malanje Airport for an emergency landing.
Emergency Landing
The aircraft landed on an unlit runway. During the landing roll, it veered off the runway and came to a stop. A post-crash fire ensued, which completely destroyed the aircraft.

All 50 occupants on board were able to evacuate the aircraft without injury. No fatalities or injuries were reported.
