Event Description
During the takeoff roll at Luanda-4 de Fevereiro Airport, the flight crew initiated the rotation procedure. However, the aircraft did not respond to the control inputs and failed to become airborne. The aircraft continued its travel along the runway, overran the end, and came to rest. No injuries occurred among the occupants. The aircraft sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
Investigation
The official investigation into the incident identified a probable cause. The findings indicated that the crew had performed poor flight preparation prior to the takeoff.
