Accident
Shortly after takeoff from Naypyidaw Airport, while climbing to about 500 feet, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in an open field 600 metres past the runway end, bursting into flames.
Victims
Four occupants were killed in the crash. A passenger was seriously injured and evacuated to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries a few hours later. The three officers killed in the accident were Major Aung Kyaw Moe, Captain Aung Paing Soe, and Captain Htin Kyaw Soe. The aircraft was carrying them to Namhsan, Shan State, to assist with the aftermath of a fire there.
