What happened
During an emergency mission departing from Naypyidaw Airport, an aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent while climbing through approximately 500 feet. The flight was transporting three officers to Namhsan, Shan State, to provide assistance following a recent fire in that region. Shortly after the departure, the plane lost stability and struck an open field situated roughly 600 metres beyond the runway threshold. The impact caused the aircraft to burst into flames.
There were five people on board at the time of the accident. The crash resulted in five fatalities, as the single passenger who sustained serious injuries passed away in a local hospital a few hours after being evacuated. The crew members involved in the flight also perished in the accident.
