What happened
Shortly after departing from Tachilek Airport, the aircraft experienced a loss of control. The flight path ended in a wooded area situated in Möng Pa-liao, approximately 57 km northeast of the airfield at coordinates N 20 50' 26" E 100° 20' 51".
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft. There were 32 fatalities recorded among the occupants, which included 11 civilians.
Findings
Investigations into the accident suggest that the primary factor was an engine failure, which led to the pilot losing control of the plane during the initial climb phase.
