What happened
During a joint training operation involving various ships positioned off the coast of Tierra del Fuego, an aircraft was performing maneuvers as part of a combined exercise. While the flight was in the cruise phase over land near the Bahía Polcarpo area, the aircraft impacted the slope of a mountain.
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe. There were no survivors among the seven fatalities recorded during the accident. The crew on board consisted of two officers.
