What happened
Following the landing phase on runway 06 at Trelew-Almirante Zar Airport, the aircraft struck a truck that was positioned along the side of the runway. The impact caused the left main landing gear to collapse, leading to the end of the movement.
Despite the significant damage to the airframe, all 23 occupants were able to exit the plane without harm. The aircraft was subsequently determined to be a total loss due to the extent of the structural damage sustained during the event.
Findings
- The collision occurred after the aircraft had completed its landing sequence.
- A stationary vehicle parked near the runway perimeter was the primary object struck.
