What happened
During a flight departing from Songkhla Airport, a twin engine airplane experienced a loss of control shortly after takeoff. While the aircraft was in its climbing phase, it veered off its intended path and impacted the surface of Songkhla Lake.
The accident resulted in the deaths of all six occupants on board the aircraft. There were no survivors reported from the wreckage.
Findings
Following the impact, investigations focused on the period immediately following departure. The primary factor identified in the loss of control was that the aircraft went out of control while attempting to gain altitude.
